“Every moment has its own sacred purpose.” – Elizabeth Lesser

At 27 years old, I was out of balance.

Stressed, not eating correctly, not focused on mindfulness, and 100% out of touch with myself.

My body was begging me to listen. And unfortunately, the short version of my story is how it took stage IV oral squamous cell carcinoma and losing half of my tongue to get me to sit down and really change the trajectory of my life.

But through extensive surgery, months of rehabilitation, and recovery, I discovered the beauty in the broken, and the purpose for the pain. It was actually a blessing in disguise.

I realized I had the power to choose what was right for my body. I became my best advocate. And uncovered a whole new world of alternative health and wellness.

Fast-forward to the present, and the life I live today. I went from settling so far below the wellness line to discovering an entirely new way of living. I would NEVER go back to how I used to treat myself — mind, body, and spirit. The stress, the pressure, the inconsistencies were never worth the toll it took on my body. But it was all for such an amazing purpose. Helping others live well, bringing awareness to AYA (adolescent and young adult) cancer, and teaching the importance of preventative care became my mission.

I am so passionate about wellness, health coaching, and essential oils!

As an integrative health coach, I encourage people to find balance in their PRIMARY food (relationships, career, home-life, spirituality, health, fitness, etc) in order to have balance in their SECONDARY food (the actual nutrients you consume).

And part of that balance is finding your purpose and calling.

When you become a part of Physical Culture S2, it’s truly a family supporting one another through health and wellness. We encourage each other through our stories, journeys, struggles, and successes. We build each other up and cheer each other on.  Essential oils are so important (and easy!) to incorporate into your lifestyle, and eating right along with chemical-free living is key, but it’s not the only reason we found commonality.

We wanted more than the status quo.

And we took a step of faith for ourselves, our families, and our futures.

Raise your hand if you’re ready to live above the wellness line! I want to walk this journey with you — and connect you with a team of people from all seasons of life who are doing the very same.

It’s truly one of the most life-changing decisions you’ll ever make.
